Q. Do you do repairs on boats other than GRP?

A. Yes, we can repair all types of boats, including rotomoulded boats and wooden boats.

Q. How much will my repair cost?

A. Send us some detailed photos and we’ll give you an approximate price.

Q. Can you work with my insurance company?

A. Yes, we have good, long-term relationships with most of the marine insurance companies, they will often settle a claim directly with us, so that you don’t have to pay and reclaim.

Q. Can you pick up my boat? What if I don’t have a trailer?

A. Yes, we can collect and/or return your boat and can use our own trailer if we need to.  Please contact us for a quote.

Q. Can you work on the fixtures and fittings?

A. Yes, we can  repair foils, replace damaged rigging and do a service/upgrade as the same time (or independently of) a repair.

Q. Do you repair kayaks, jet skis, RIBs, committee boats etc.?

A. YES!  We’ve worked on pretty much everything made of fibreglass in our time – tractor cabs, classic cars, swimming pools….

Q. Can you run workshops at the moment?

A. We have put COVID secure arrangements in place and will always follow Government guidelines. Please contact us for the latest situation. We are running 1-1 workshops now, and taking bookings for future group workshops.

Q. Can you tailor the workshop to what I want to learn?

A. Yes, for a 1-1 workshop we can discuss content and make sure the skills taught are relevant to you.

Q. I know the basics already, is this for me?

A. Yes, we can do a more advanced 1-1 dinghy repair workshop, or a shorter refresher session, please contact us to discuss options.

Q. Can you come to our sailing club?

A. Usually yes, we can run a repair workshop for a group of sailors at a club, tailored to suit your needs and working on your members’ boats.  We will resume these when we are allowed to.

Q. Can I bring my own boat?

A. Potentially yes, you can bring your own boat, depending on the repair needed.  You can work on it with us and then leave it for further work if you like too.

A. We are in Lydney, Glos.  Directions here

Q. Can we come to the workshop?

A. Yes, customers are welcome to come to the workshop to drop off and collect boats, and for dinghy repair workshops.

Q. What area do you cover?

A. For boat repair we cover the whole of the South West, the Midlands, Wales and sometimes beyond. For brokerage, buying and selling we cover the whole of the UK and have many International customers too.
