As well as being owner of West Country Boat repairs, Pete Vincent is Chair of the RS Class Association.  In a recent New Year’s message to the members he said “whilst sailing remains difficult at present, we are confident that we will be able to run an extensive and wide range of events in 2021”.  Equally, whilst we are operating under COVID restrictions, e.g. by not allowing visitors to enter the workshop, wearing appropriate PPE, with enhanced hygiene measures and social distancing; we are continuing to help customers prepare for the 2021 sailing season.

We worked on John Burns’ RS200 in 2020, to get it in ‘tip top order’, adding value to the boat, which helped result in a sale within days.

We are taking bookings for service, repairs and upgrades and are happy to provide an estimate of costs from photos.  We are also able to collect and return boats, and continue our brokerage sales remotely.  Please contact us if we can help you – get in before the post-lockdown rush and be ready to get on the water as soon as we can.
